We can create American jobs, achieve energy independence, reduce pollution, and mitigate global warming with this technology.
We have done several wind related studies at Georgia Tech and believe wind energy has a place in the scheme of things in the Southeast (at least offshore). Hopefully some wind farms will be built in the next several years.
Cascade County Commissioners believe that Wind Energy is an economic development strategy for North Central Montana. Our "screaming" winds can provide needed jobs and tax revenue for our communities.
I have invented a new type of wind mill which is permit ready and fits like a commercial AC unit on the roof of city buildings.
The Patent Pending Windation wind mill uses a Dempster 8' turbine and generates significant power which goes directly on the electrical grid of the building.
Multiple units can form a roof top wind farm which increase the power output significantly.

Renewable energy has become one of the fastest growing power sources and is forecasted to continue its growth. It's exciting to be part of the wind energy business, where the opportunities are vast and the rewards are both environmentally and economically beneficial.
KBSJ is the only public radio station to be powered by wind. This off-grid configuration has three 10kW turbines and a propane-fired generator for backup power. The station was built in 2001. It serves a large area in Northern Nevada and South Central Idaho.
Wind is the least expensive form of new energy generation, and reduces our nation's silly dependence on dirty fossil fuels. This turbine powers the concession stand (and more) at a large public school system in the suburbs of Kansas City.
Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation takes great pride in providing local, and often rural communities, with clean energy jobs and energy. We believe Suzlon's men and women working at our wind farms shows Congress the value of passing a national RES. Without it, we will not see the expansion of these jobs and further economic development in areas where families desire to stay on their land. Suzlon hopes Congress will help us build a stronger industry through a Federal RES. Now and always, our company will always take pride in working with our customers and Congress to bring clean energy jobs and power to North America.
The wind industry provided me with employment when I lost my job in February. The career suits me well because of my firm belief that we have to take care of our planet for our children and grandchildren.
Why wind matters to me? The answer to that question is simple: It's clean, renewable, and free! ...versus our dirty, limited, and politically-costly alternatives.
